Epic Outdoors is a business dedicated to providing outdoor adventures for people with disabilities as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We offer hiking and camping trips around Queensland, as well as a 10-week mountain biking fundamentals program.
Yes, we have full public liability insurance for all of our activities, providing protection for all our participants.
All our staff and volunteers have current blue cards, which means they have passed a working with children check. All our staff and volunteers are trained in first aid and CPR, ensuring that we can respond to any emergency situations that may arise during our trips. Our mountain bike instructors are at minimum a certified foundation level instructors with AusCycling and Locky has completed level 1 training with PMBIA. We have have been riding mountain bikes recreationally and competitively on some of the worlds best trails for many years. Locky is also a qualified automotive mechanic for a bit of peace of mind on some of the remote trips.
Our camping guides have extensive experience in outdoor camping and many years experience living off-grid and are committed to ensuring that all our participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
